Leading a collective of 18 booths featuring Romagna producers, the Consorzio will welcome visitors at Pavilion 1 of Emilia-Romagna, Stand B4 - C8.
DISCOVERING THE SANGIOVESE OF THE SUBZONES: ROCCHE DI ROMAGNA
An unmissable moment during the fair will be the masterclass dedicated to exploring the subzones of Romagna Sangiovese. On Sunday, April 14th, at 12:30, journalist, digital storyteller, and sommelier Adua Villa will guide participants through the riches of the Romagna territory with the masterclass "Rocche di Romagna: A Journey to Discover the Subzones of Romagna Sangiovese." It's a unique opportunity for deepening knowledge and tasting, offering an unprecedented narrative - entirely territorial - of Romagna's oenological gems. The "Rocca," a historic symbol of fortresses - so widespread and characteristic in the Romagna territories - is the distinctive mark of the "Sottozone": the collective brand "Rocche di Romagna" aims to highlight the uniqueness of each subzone through the collective story of the project. Thus, it aims to generate a new movement of interest towards Romagna Sangiovese, shedding light on territorial productions that stand at the top of the qualitative pyramid of the appellation.
TASTING ROMAGNA EXCELLENCE
In addition to the prestigious Romagna Sangiovese DOC, Vinitaly 2024 will be a unique opportunity to discover the diverse world of Romagna's oenological excellence. At the dedicated booths, visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in the experience of the region's PDO and PGI wines. Not to be missed is the Romagna Albana DOCG, Italy's first white wine to obtain guaranteed designation, with the charm of a wine of great structure and freshness. The Novebolle Romagna Spumante DOC, protagonist of Romagna's sparkling wines, expresses a fresh and contemporary approach to sparkling rooted in the forty-year-old Romagna spumante experience of the early 20th century. Furthermore, the evocative Rimini Rebola DOC, which will captivate visitors with its verve and versatility for every occasion: an authentic expression of the territory closest to the coast, telling stories of the sea and millennia-old traditions.
