DOP and IGP Wines of Romagna Return to Imola for the Annual Event Dedicated to Hospitality

Scheduled for Monday, September 30, at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack

Mosaico di Vita | Consorzio Vini di Romagna

The Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack in Imola will once again host the annual event organized by the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, dedicated to professionals in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector (hotels, restaurants, wine shops, wine bars, catering services, and distributors). Participants will have the opportunity to connect with over 60 producers and explore 400 wines, showcasing the diversity and richness of Romagna, from the Rimini coastline to the hills of Imola.

The event will take place on Monday, September 30, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Checco Costa Room, Piazza Ayrton Senna da Silva, No. 3.

This year’s edition introduces a special seminar for restaurateurs, led by Roberto Gardini, a former "Best Sommelier of Italy," esteemed trainer, and expert in the wines of the region. The seminar will offer an in-depth exploration of Romagna’s principal wine styles, culminating in food pairings. The event will also feature culinary specialists from Emilia-Romagna and beyond, adding depth to the gastronomic experience.

"Romagna wines, particularly Sangiovese, are not just quality products but symbols of our identity and history. Each bottle tells the story of the profound connection between the grape and the land, a connection reflected in the passion and dedication of our winemakers. We are convinced that events like this are crucial for promoting and raising awareness of Romagna wines, particularly through partnerships with the restaurant industry—especially within the region. This collaboration is fundamental for the recognition and pride in our local varieties. Our goal is to elevate Romagna wines to the heights they deserve," commented President Roberto Monti.

The event is organized by the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, with the support of the municipal administrations of Imola and Faenza. Special thanks to the collaborators: Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia - Ascom Imola and Faenza, Confesercenti, A.RI.AL.CO, AIS Romagna, IF Turism Company, and Edizioni Prima Pagina.
