Vini ad Arte, the event organized by the Consorzio Vini di Romagna, reserved for the international sector press, animated the Romagna wine region for 3 days.
30 national and international journalists, 64 producers, 152 wines for technical tasting, 3 days of visits and tastings at the Consortium producers. The new itinerant program, introduced last year, is confirmed as a winning formula to promote knowledge of the territory, producers and the artistic and historical beauties of the region.
The Vini ad Arte event was developed over three days: two dedicated to visits to the territory and one to the technical tasting of the new vintages of Romagna Sangiovese and Romagna Albana at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, with a tasting, on the first day, entirely dedicated to Albana.
There were several moments of in-depth analysis that culminated in the seminar organized by the Consortium for international guests, in which very important issues for viticulture were discussed: sustainability, environmental protection and the enhancement of PDOs and sub-areas. of Romagna Sangiovese.
All made possible thanks to the Consorzio Vini di Romagna and the Sustem project (acronym for Sustainable European Mediterranean Food and Wines) with the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Faenza, in collaboration with AIS Romagna and Ascom Faenza.
"Formula that wins does not change - comments Ruenza Santandrea, President of the Consortium - Journalists from Norway, Denmark, US, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Holland, Germany, Canada and Poland have appreciated the format that includes tastings, seminars, food-wine combinations and cultural visits. Vini ad Arte was also an opportunity to officially present the 4 new sub-areas that are added to the 12 already existing. We hope that what our guests have experienced in these days will help them better communicate our unique products abroad. "
But Vini ad Arte does not end here and relaunches with the day dedicated to operators and enthusiasts which this year will take place on 26 September at the Imola racetrack.
