Tozzi

The Terra dei Gessi Winery was born in Casola Valsenio, on the Vena del Gesso ridge of Romagna at the end of 2014. It is owned by the Tozzi family, and in particular by the founding-grandfather, Franco, born in 1936. He was a source of inspiration for the eldest granddaughter (Virginia, born in 1992) who has begun to closely follow the "wine project" backed by a team of enthusiastic and prepared young people, all under 40. The winery was developed in three main areas. In addition to a pig farm and roughly 20 hectares of orchards, it also owns 7.5 hectares of vineyards. Their first harvest was in 2017, but the first bottling dates to May 2018, when the first 12,000 bottles of Cantina Tozzi were packaged.
