The oenological history of the Fattoria Zerbina Winery began in 1966, but the qualitative development began to take place in 1987 when Cristina Geminiani took over the management of the company, followed by her brother Vincenzo shortly after. The change immediately started with enhancing Sangiovese and Albana grapes. Thus, the Pietramora and Scaccomatto wines were created and readily followed by Marzieno wine, a Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend which has earned Fattoria Zerbina many awards in the last seven harvests.
