For a long period of time, the Ricci Curbastro Winery had been thinking about a project to produce wines on the Romagna hills based on Sangiovese grapes. For them, it was a matter of bringing the important wine-growing experience to Romagna, their homeland, and applying their knowledge of enology to a grape variety and a land of particular charm. The company is now run by Gualberto Ricci Curbastro, the 18th generation of the family.
