The Bissoni winery was concived from Raffaella Bissoni's choice of lifestyle. It stands on a promontory with the sea over the horizon and the Apennines behind it. The wines are produced from the most important native Italian vines with a quality production framework that foresees very low yields and is harvested entirely by hand. Sangiovese is the base and reserve, and Albana Passito is left to wither on the vine until the onset of noble rot.
